Our business provides high quality US tax preparation and advice to US Expatriates and Non Resident Aliens living in Mexico both in person and remotely.

Our unique selling point is local and international expertise in US tax compliance at a lower cost than comparable services based in the U.S. We also have and continue to develop long term tax advisory relationships with our clients and continue to grow in large part due to word of mouth recommendations.
We stay up to date on relevant tax issues and IRS enforcement. We spend over 40 hours a year each developing our expert knowledge in the International area of the U.S. tax code and understanding Mexico specific tax compliance issues and pitfalls as well.
Scott Graville has an extensive background in accounting and finance. He is an Enrolled Agent to practice before the IRS and has held various securities licenses including the Series 7 and Series 63. Scott completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance and a minor in economics.
Scott later completed his MBA at the University of Chicago in 2004, graduating with honors and with focuses in finance and accounting. Scott’s original income tax preparation work occurred in the Los Angeles area at the firm Robert Hall and Associates in the late 1990s. Scott later worked for almost 10 years in Investment Banking for the firms A.G. Edwards & Sons, UBS and Goldman Sachs, finishing his career as a Vice President in the Consumer Retail Investment Banking practice of Goldman Sachs in its Los Angeles office.
Scott joined with Marian Wellman at Taxes in Mexico in 2011,becoming a partner in 2012. He was also a Professor of Finance (taught in Spanish) at the University of Guadalajara CUCEA campus for four years. Scott has formed and operated small businesses in Mexico and brings his personal experience dealing with the labyrinth of regulatory compliance requirements as an expat in Mexico. Scott brings his passion and drive for client service excellence to Taxes in Mexico with an enthusiasm for helping to ensure our clients receive the best value for their money.
